Abstract:   (1999 Views)
The emphasis of industrial economics on fundamental markets and inter-sectoral interactions of industries is to explain the behaviour of enterprises. On the other hand, each country's industrial and economic policymaker approaches are substantial and outline the roadmap for the industry's development, investment, and advancement. This study investigates the results and consequences of various types of economic policy objectives towards Iran's industries. The method of this research is based on the theory of general equilibrium of the economy so that in this study, 24 different types of policy (24 different scenarios) to the priority of Iranian decision-makers in 4 issues: "Industrial Environmental Considerations," "Industrial Energy Consumption," "Industrial Employment Capacity" And "the value of industrial products." Using the input-output tables of 2005 and 2015, the changes of all four areas have been assessed to determine which industries are given priority in development and support in each scenario. To achieve this goal, increasing coefficients of input-output modelling have been used, and by creating a composite index, the intensity of priorities has been measured. The results show that the industry "manufacture of other transport equipment" has a higher priority on average. Also, calculating the variance of the section "manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products, and nuclear fuel" shows that this section will be more fragmented with different policy approaches.
